This is the front side of the interim agreement which is sent on the 28th day after the application date on cases which have not yet been issued. It is folded with a near version of the detail page that will be in the policy when issued, placed in a plastic sheath, and mailed.

This is the reverse side. Because of the way the package is mailed, and considering the tendency of some percentage of applicants to throw the unopened policy package in a drawer unread, I suspect many thought they had received their policy. That probably saved some impatient cancellations when the underwriting process was drawn out.
